We sing all kinds of music from Broadway classics to Queen. Here’s a selection of our favourite songs.

Sloop John B

Our virtual recording of Sloop John B.

Sloop John B is one of our newer pieces which we learned remotely during the COVID-19 lockdown in March/April 2020.

Originally a Bahamian folk song, this song exploded in popularity when the Beach Boys adapted it in 1966. Our version was arranged by Aaron Dale and first performed by The Westminster Chorus.

The Way We Were

This 1973 Barbara Streisand classic was arranged by Brian Beck. We absolutely love the classic barbershop harmonies in this song, as well as the powerful lyrics.

Here’s a recording by OC Times.

Lullabye (Goodnight My Angel)

Billy Joel was famously inspired by his daughter Alexa when he wrote this song in 1994. It’s one of his lesser-known but most beautiful songs, arranged wonderfully for the barbershop style by Kirk Young.

It was recorded by 1993 International Quartet Champions, The Gas House Gang.

Tonight

Originally written for West Side Story, our arrangement by Jay Giallombardo has been a barbershop standard since the early 1990s when it was first performed by 1991 International Quartet Champions Acoustix.
