Sharquar, a very recently formed quartet from our club, had a great time competing in the BABS national senior's prelims. competition in Leicester last weekend - it was their first public outing and although they just missed going through to the semi-finals at the annual convention next year in Bournemouth, they were very pleased with their performance ! The photo shows Steve Allen (tenor), Dean Whitehouse (lead), Colin Milner (bass) and Phil Bunting (baritone). It was Phil's first experience singing in quartet in that kind of environment - so a big shout- out for him !
